Q.1 : Congratulations Nicole , Let me start by asking , Do you visit Missosology? If yes , How did you react to the enormous International Support you got here? You were Missosology's outright favorite the day you auditioned in Bangalore
Yes, I do visit Misssosology from time to time n I enjoy reading the comments made by your specialist and adviser. I thank you for having voted me for both the south India and Miss India Pageants. I am indeed grateful for all the support Missosology has given me. Thank You Missosology.
2. What cause will you further in Miss Earth 2010
I would like to look at conservation of natural resources as my main thrust. I feel unless we look after our planet, we cannot leave a fitting legacy for future generations. I am working on a few projects and will share details of these from time to time.
3. What all preparations are you doing now for the Miss Earth Pageant?
As stated above I am working on a few projects . In addition I am enjoying reading and learning more about our wonderful home – planet Earth. The more I read the more I am amzed by the with and depth of life on earth and the magnitude of the resources that are our riches.we need to do more abt utilizing renewable energy, and I am seriously figuring out how best I can do something about it.
4. Many Pageant fans were disappointed on knowing that you wont be going for Miss Universe. We all feel that your modeling experience and your fierce walk is well suited for Miss Universe. Would you consider taking part in I AM SHE , Miss India for Miss Universe once all your formalities with the TIMES GROUP is over?
Its too far ahead to think about it at this stage. Right now my focus is on the Miss Earth Pageant. However if the conditions and the draw is right I would be open to considering I AM SHE at a appropriate time.
5.There are hundreds of beauty pageant aspirants visiting our portal, What is your advise to them ? What would be your success mantra?
I think todays beauty pageants in general and Miss India in particular need a combination of beauty and brains built on a foundation of purpose and commitment. Fitness, skin and hair are only a part of the main game. What is most important according to me is a ton of confidence, a load of Effective Communication Skills and Grace and Poise to wrap it all up. In short to win one has to be a total package of the points I have mentioned above.
6. What do you think is your biggest strength and your biggest weakness?
My biggest strength is my belief in my capabilities which is driven by my passion to be the best that I can be. My weakness is probably the impression that others have that I could win a contest. This makes other people look at me as a threat, which in turn makes me look like the “enemy”. I am working on how I can change the perception of felloe contestants.
7. Would you opt for surgeries to improve your physical features? Nowadays almost all pageant powerhouses like Venezuela , Puerto Rico do that and have been successful also , Whats your take in that ?
In principle I strongly believe that beauty comes from within and any alteration to our natural beauty is unnecessarily tampering with what the universe has kindly bestowed on us. When one has access to the latest techniques in natural body shaping and sculpting, there really is no need to opt for an easy (and sometimes risky) route like surgery.
8. After Miss India then what ? Bollywood?
Right now my focus is on Miss Earth and there is lots to be done. I firmly believe that what we have to get will come to us in its own time. So I will cross the Hollywood/ Bollywood bridge when I come to it.
9. Do you feel extra pressure now that you are the Hot favourite for Miss EARTH title knowing that Miss EARTH Is notorious for it's upset wins?
I really don’t take part in a contest worrying about whether the win is a natural progression or a logical choice, or a flash in the pan. I compete in order that I can test myself against the best in the field and my primary satisfaction comes from knowing that I have done my best and that I have moved myself to a new level of achievement. Therefore I am under no pressure and I am not one who frets over the results ….whether they are as predicted ….or even diametrically opposed. I look forward to the Miss Earth contest, and I will do my Best to be my Best.
10. What would you say to your die hard fans of Missosology ?
I have only the deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation for all the support that I have been getting from your enthusiasts and specialist. Thank you for being a constant source of encouragement and a great reservoir of motivation. I look forward to your continued support and unwavering faith.
